They used peptides from Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG against Salmonella Typhimurium and Salmonella Enteritidis. They worked in both cell cultures and chickens. The authors believe the effect on the Salmonella membrane mad the big difference and two peptides were effective in hot conditions and in the presence of protease enzymes added to chicken feed.
Yes, it's science, distrusted by the left from the 1960s (vast corporate conspiracy) until they were joined by the right in 2021 (vast deep-state conspiracy) but because these are peptides, invoked in every organic cosmetic product in use, this is more like Mutagenesis - it can get a free pass because it is not science that has already been banned by trade group panels.
