Jeffrey served for over a decade as one of News Corp's senior executives in Europe and led the highly successful expansion of the National Geographic channels in the region. As Chairman of Playcast Media's board of advisors, Mr. Jeffrey will head the company's long term planning and strategic expansion.

George Jeffrey headed up National Geographic Channels' operations in UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa as well as global development opportunities for Nat Geo and Fox International. Previously Jeffrey was Director of Television Networks for National Geographic Channels Europe responsible for business development, legal affairs and distribution in Europe, Israel and Africa. He was responsible for the Channel's rapid growth reaching 134 million homes in less than 5 years, making it the world's fastest growing television network.
Previously Jeffrey was Vice President Legal and Business Affairs, Universal Studios Networks, responsible for USN's television networks business and legal affairs in the UK, including Sci-Fi Channel. From 1994-1996 he headed Legal Affairs for Globecast Europe - France Telecom's satellite transponder and uplink provider.
