Proper contemporary psychologist claim all the injuries of the autistc people are psyco- somatic meaning we just think we are hurt. In reality are bodies only feel 8-9-10 on the pain scale.
That means we have lastose intoeance presenting as something awful, last stage of athesma attck with NO pre signals and we often collaspe not knowing we are out of air. Many of us in our anthropology walk on uneven hips and finally at the ages of 30 and above we finally hurt. We walk away from Car crashes "unhurt" our Hero and father of the computer, Alan Turing Ran marathons with out walls! (Enigma 1983 Hodges). Only the Xrays and people that live us every day know we miss the obvious.
I just recently broke my right hand, It was not all that bad I thought until 12 hours after the event at work , it really hit 8 on the pain scale as I tried to pick up a trash can. It finally hurt and I drove my self to the hospital and the x rays showed 3 breaks. No it was NOT black and blue and it really didn't hurt. As many times before, the Er and Xray staff's were astonished, and finally believied my story that I was even hurt. Old real world autism is filled with stories like this.
We don't even give up blood. I had 5 E.R. Experts try to draw blood from both arms and none were able to do it. THEY EVEN PULLED BENT NEEDLES from our veins! We very consistantly have that experience. Shouldn't Medical Science be worried about that instead of mercury?
To complicate things more afer the hand was fixed I fainted while in the men's room,, It was an athesma attack along with the shock of the hand injry. By the time I wake up in another Er room all wired to the hilt for heart monitoring and had a cat scan of my head searching for signs of a stroke, my feeble explanation of an athesma attack ,the horrible hip hurting like hell, didn't add up. I had not had Athesma meds for years since they are to expensive and America has no health insurance. One shot of Primatine mist and I was FINE We found we recover instantly. We also get taken down instantly.
So much for psycho-somatic injuries,,,,,,,,,,,, Rich Shull
