Why not put it in theaters, you ask? As they say in a USA Today article, it may be the case that the market for family 'scary' films (a la "Abbott&Costello Meet Frankenstein", etc.) is practically non-existent in a world of "Saw" death porn profitability. But if you like deadpan science humor and the charm of low-budget special effects, Larry Blamire certainly has a track record that can't be topped.
