Dr. Oz may have thought he won the culture war by making "Dr." really tiny in his logo and hiring an anti-science fact checker for his program, but serious doctors are not buying it.

In Reuters, a consortium worries about the 6,000,000 people per day being told that homeopathy, Miracle Herbs and whatever else will be popular among the anti-science crowd this week will be taken seriously. 

They would like Dr. Oz to stop prescribing "unsubstantiated, costly and potentially harmful treatments, and leave other doctors to manage the fallout continue without censure."

Most damning - they are from Columbia University, where Dr. Oz has been using his faculty status to legitimize his personal beliefs about medicine and science. Now, Columbia is one of the most left-wing universities in the country, thus they probably love being against science like food, energy and medicine, so Dr. Oz really must have gone too far for multiple groups there to be speaking out against him.

The American Medical Association is doing the same thing, and issuing ethical guidelines, which means Dr. Oz will be scrambling for content if he doesn't want to be censured by them - studies have shown that over 50 percent of his show might as well be made up.
