Just considering the quote shown above, one has to wonder just how perverted someone's thinking process must be, to act as if the problem is that "we do not yet have the scientific knowledge to predict....".
What is there to predict? Are we to pursue rationalizations for science like Josef Mengele?
To increase the absurdity, there is another article entitled "You can't trust a tortured brain: Coercive interrogation may do more harm than good". Personally I'm stunned that someone could write such a title with a straight face. Then of course there's the absurdly obvious "Psychologists say torture can make anyone seem guilty".
.... and the hits just keep on coming.
