Used Part Tuberous roots.
Western temperate Himalayas upto 3,600 m.
Common Uses . The bulbs are sweet, bitter, refrigerant, galactagogue, expectorant, aphrodisiac, diuretic, antipyretic and tonic. They are useful in agalactia, cough, bronchitis, vitiated conditions of pitta and seminal weakness, strangury, burnings sensation, hyperdepsia, intermittent fevers, haematemesis, rheumatalgia and general debility.
