Atrazine And The Forever War On Science - this was surprisingly uncontroversial even though I defended the EPA, which enrages the right wing, and defended a pesticide, which enrages the left.  It still got a lot of readers and I think it needed to be written.

At the beginning of the year, one of the biggest critics of science mentioned in the article, was being lauded in The New Yorker and by the end of the year he was admitting in a study he couldn't find any toxic effects with the pesticide made by a company he claims is in a conspiracy against him.
