Complete, corrected release follows:

On November 19th a group from the University of Exeter and University College Falmouth set off on a journey to explore the rainforests of Murung Raya province of Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.

The group are researching this previously unexplored region and hope to discover new species as they venture into remote and inhospitable areas still undisturbed by man.

Livewire Digital Ltd have provided the team with the means to share their adventure with a global audience. Livewire's market leading software is being used for video compression and transmission and also for management of the satellite link. M-Link Newscaster is being used for store & forward video delivery and M-Link Live X for live video calls.

Live videoconferencing sessions with the Natural History Museum have been planned, the first of these will take place on January 15th and will take advantage of custom software developed by Livewire Digital Ltd. The software will take the live video feed being played out at Livewire's Exchange receiver and will act as a proxy to make the feed available to the proprietary video conferencing unit at the Natural History Museum. Livewire are offering this functionality as an "M-Link Bridge" service to customers who do not have the infrastructure to receive live calls themselves, or who want to bridge between an M-Link receiver and a standard video conferencing unit. Livewire have also supplied the team with four Inmarsat iSat phones, a Thrane & Thrane 700 terminal and some Iridium handsets.

Martin Holland expedition leader said, "The satellite communications equipment that Livewire Digital Ltd have supplied, along with their expertise and support in the field is invaluable."

Richard Aylmer-Hall, Business Development & Product Manager at Livewire Digital Ltd commented - "We are delighted to be able to showcase our video delivery software during such an adventurous and deserving expedition. We wish the Heart of Borneo team every success and look forward to following their adventures over the coming months."
