LONDON, October 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Colin Hale has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of COFELY for the UK and Ireland with effect from the 4th October 2010. Colin has over 30 years experience within the construction and facilities management sectors and joins the company from Kier Facilities Services, where he was Managing Director. Prior to that Colin was a board director with MITIE, instrumental in the establishment of their Facilities Management arm and Chairman of their Technical Services and Support Services divisions.

The appointment marks COFELY's continuing growth in the facilities and energy management sector, as evidenced by the recent acquisition of Utilicom to create COFELY District Energy, the UK's largest district energy provider.
