I am a board-certified addiction doctor living in Los Angeles. My clinical practice consists of helping people with substance and/or process dependence problems to live healthier lives.

My undergraduate degree is from UC Berkeley in biochemistry, I have a doctorate in medicine from UC Davis. I completed a fellowship in pain medicine, and a residency in anesthesiology. I'm a frequent commentator on television news programs and am quoted in the press and on radio.

I am married to a beautiful woman and we have two great children. I am a fan of baseball and the Los Angeles Dodgers specifically.
