There is only one valid, not breathtakingly hypocritical opinion anyone who has claimed to believe in science can have on this vaccine.  Give it to me fast and strong.. give me that vaccine ASAP.   I want to make this clear to anyone over the age of 18 with an education above 11^th grade.  Trust qualified expertise.  A well-respected drug company, who accepted an order for 100 million doses of any potential covid vaccine has found it.  Yes, it was announced by Trump and Pence.  Yes, Dr Fauci says it is ok.  The timing of it had nothing to do with politics. 

I am not a medical professional, but all of the scientist involved certainly are.  Don’t take my word for it.  Let me speak to the realpolitick of this though.

Realpolitik Of The Vaccine

This should not even be a factor but it is.  This is 2020.

I know I know there are people who out of petty and absurd political considerations will not want to get the vaccine until January 20^th or latter.  People who have said “I Believe In Science”.  People who’ve worn it on T shirts, had it on signs, used it as a campaign slogan, broadcasted it on the internet as a virtue signal.  People like Kamala Harris who said they would not trust a Trump vaccine who are now VP elect, all but certifiedly, who many will follow the example of.  Said on the absurd notion that Trump alone would ever be able to even make such an pronouncement.  Need to get this vaccine live on air on “The View”.  We need to get this vaccine like kids get to talk to Santa. 

We need to get this vaccine like we have never needed anything before.

We see you too Gov Cuomo.  Who called it Bad News a vaccine came under Trump.

Life Over Politics.  

Let us all remember politics isn’t everything.  There is no power without living souls to exercise it over.  There is no economy without people to make it work.  As one who myself once called an election I lost crooked, and it was crooked but upheld as being good enough.  An election need not be perfect to stand it just needs to be good enough.  

As one who also got to present a done contract and 7 years of backpay to our union members just before and after losing an election.  I know from that tiny experience life goes on.  Especially when presenting those who defeated you with a fait accompli that was part of their whole campaign.

Life only goes on if one is alive.  So, get the vaccine everyone.   Please!

Make America Build Better Immunity.

Breaking:  There might even be another vaccine with similar results.  So two vaccines…not to mention the Russian one which they have been distributing.  Between all of these we have COVID’s number.  This is a great day for all of humanity. 

If anyone needs more of a source on the Warp Speed thing. The issue of whether or not it is part of the program is not really relevant. The US government has place a large order in advance... before the vaccine was developed and worked closely with Pfizer for it. The government of Germany did also provide funding. Quartz has good reporting on it so don't take my word for this.

Not every deal, however, included that kind of up-front investment. “We have never taken any money from the US government, or from anyone,” Kathrin Jansen, a senior vice president and the head of vaccine research and development at Pfizer, told the New York Times. The $1.95 billion in its agreement will only be paid out when the government takes delivery of the vaccines, after they are authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Part of warp speed or not get the vaccine, or the other vaccine Fauci mentioned. Damn the politics to hell while still giving credit where it is due...and blame where it is due to so many of our leaders.
