Vrindavan famous religious place near Mathura is named as Vrindavan
Vrinda is name for Tulsi ( Ocimum ) and van is forest.
It had thick forests of Tulsi Ocimum interspersed with Salvadora oleodes and Salvadora persica . Now its difficult to see such forests of Vrinda. Hope we shall be able to inculcate the love for plants in the young tiny tots so that we restore the old glory of religious place . Plants keep environments clean.
