BERN, Switzerland, November 11 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of the SCIENCEsuisse project, swissinfo.ch is presenting profiles of 25 Swiss scientists from the broadest range of disciplines. The focus is on Switzerland's high international reputation as a centre of research. SCIENCEsuisse is an SRG SSR idée suisse initiative, in collaboration with the Swiss National Science Foundation.
SCIENCEsuisse is intended to give readers an insight into what scientists are studying at the beginning of the 21st century. The 25 selected profiles present those scientists whose work has also gained renown beyond Switzerland's borders.
