We are particularly pleased to have been awarded the operatorship of block 8/25b. We believe that the North Sea still has much to offer the UK in terms of further crude oil and natural gas exploration, development and production. Canamens very much looks forward to playing a part in exploiting this critical national resource.
These awards come on top of the recent completion of the acquisition of a series of interests from Nautical Petroleum and our participation with Total in blocks 8/14 and 8/15. Together these provide Canamens with a strong foundation to build a material business in the North Sea.
