NEW YORK, April 30, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- A postponement and repurposing of CSI SX was announced today by CSI/UBM International Media - management of the CSI SX Event scheduled to take place in San Francisco over the dates of May 26-27, 2010. The feedback from our members regarding our educational offerings indicates that the content is unparalleled and that we have been right on target with our programming. However, method of delivery and timing need to be addressed and so many are requesting not only the live information exchange - but a method to participate virtually and on-demand, said Robert Richardson, CSI Director.
CSI's virtual video conferences and training programs have exceeded all projected numbers with post-event surveys indicating that the content and industry icons speaking continue to be unmatched by any other information security offering. CSI SX is scheduled to move forward with its new multi-dimensional package to ensure that both CSI members and CSI patrons get the education, content and training they so desire in a format that fits their individual needs.
Exact dates will be announced shortly, however, it is confirmed that CSI SX will have two components:
1) VIRTUAL CONFERENCE: featuring programming tracks that include business agility scalable security; mobile enterprise remote delivery; web application security the most dangerous programming errors. 2) CSI SX - LIVE: a full one day program that will kick-off with the state of the art re-enactment of a live server attack: Breaking the Typical Virtual Infrastructure / Private Cloud, featuring Norwich University's Cyberweapons Range and Cybercadet Red Team.
