LONDON, March 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Further were winners at the Transform Awards 2010 with a Gold for best rebrand in the public sector for King's Health Partners and Bronze for best rebrand of a service for Cinven.

Further's work with King's College London and the three NHS Foundation Trusts of Guy's and St Thomas', King's College Hospital and South London and Maudsley in the naming and development of a unique brand for King's Health Partners, their pioneering Academic Health Science Centre, won the top award in the public sector branding section of the Transform Awards.

Sally Lingard, Director of Communications at King's College Hospital, commented, We wanted the King's Health Partners brand to be distinctive in both the academic and healthcare fields and to reflect the values of the organisation - its unique population and its bench to bedside translational research approach. Further's design, with its references to DNA, was a perfect fit and will definitely help build awareness of our new Academic Health Sciences Centre.

Further's Client partner Chris North commented, King's Health Partners is a uniquely comprehensive Academic Health Sciences Centre. We are proud to have created an equally powerful and unique brand for this great organisation.

Further also scooped best rebrand of a service award for its work with private equity house Cinven.

Steve Tibble, Cinven's Director of Communications said: Further's work for us has helped clarify our position in the market, so it's nice that the rebranding has been acknowledged with this award.

Patrick Eastwood, Managing partner said: This award is a great (and early) endorsement of the quality of our thinking and design work - and shows we can help our clients go Further.
