WEST PATERSON, New Jersey, May 12 /PRNewswire/ --
Interactive Systems Worldwide, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ISWI) announced that Global Interactive Gaming Ltd. (GIG), the Company's wholly owned UK subsidiary, has appointed Mr. Gareth M. Humphreys as its Business Development Director. In this role, Mr. Humphreys will oversee all strategic sales operations at GIG and will report directly to Mr. Bernard Albanese, Chief Executive Officer of ISWI. He will be headquartered in GIG's London office.
Mr. Humphreys is a seasoned, senior sales executive with over nine years of sales experience. Humphreys joins GIG from Arkenis, a respected provider of infrastructure solutions, where he served as EMEA Sales Director. At Arkenis, Humphreys specialized in building relationships and selling into the on-line gaming industry, closing deals worth over 12 million British Pounds Sterling in the last two years to major players in the gaming industry. Humphreys has also held senior positions at Venali and ATT EasyLink. Prior to beginning his sales career, Humphreys spent 12 years in the military as an officer in H.M. Forces.
Bernard Albanese said, We are very excited to add Mr. Humphreys to our team at GIG. He has a proven track record of being able to close significant sales opportunities, and his existing contacts in the on-line gaming industry provide a running start in his new position. In addition, Mr. Humphreys was born in Gibraltar and still has significant family ties there. Because of its tax and licensing structure, Gibraltar hosts the operating centers for many European gaming companies. Our expectation is that Gareth will be able to significantly increase the number of gaming partners utilizing GIG's products and services by providing a full-time, professional sales presence in Europe.
Gareth M Humphreys added, I am thrilled to be a part of GIG. Since leaving the Military 9 years ago, I have spent my time in the technology industry favoring the eGaming industry and look forward to continuing GIG's tradition by providing 'best of breed' automated in-run betting services.
