LONDON, June 7, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- GoldenSource Corporation (http://www.thegoldensource.com/), a leading provider of enterprise data management (EDM) solutions ( http://www.thegoldensource.com/company/edm), will be speaking in a panel and exhibiting at the Copenhagen Financial Information Summit 2010 (http://www.financialinformationsummit.com/copenhagen/day1.html) on the 8th June. The panel, entitled 'Enterprise data management: centralising data to reduce risk,' will examine how effective data management practices can reduce systemic risk.
The inability to track the transaction lifecycle, and therefore assess counterparty risk, has become an ongoing regulatory concern in the aftermath of Lehman's downfall. Greater visibility and access to a single view of the customer are vital for reducing enterprise risk but can prove challenging. As governing bodies and financial institutions work to identify the best approach to avoiding a repeat of the crisis, this panel will discuss the role of EDM in addressing such a challenge and the business case supporting it.
SVP strategic business development Gert Raeves will tackle this issue alongside industry colleagues from Baader Bank and Societe Generale Securities Services. In addition to considering how to establish effective data management strategies to reduce and monitor risk, the panel will address:
- How to justify EDM projects by demonstrating ROI - How to assess implementations for flexible and scalable data management projects that come in on time and on budget; and - How to measure the success of your EDM activities.
Gert Raeves will be speaking at 11.30am, and will be available prior to and after the panel for interviews.
Press note: Gert Raeves is available for press interviews and briefings while onsite at the Paris Financial Information Summit. Please contact Nicola Garvin at the information below to coordinate an interview:
