The South Korean companies are regular participants with their pavilion, but the Israeli Export Institute is organizing the Israel national pavilion for the first time.
A new international congress-exhibition project Navitech-Expo-2009 is to be launched this year on the basis of Sviaz-Expocomm-2009. Its main topic is to be the possibilities of using the national global satellite navigation system GLONASS and various aspects of its use both in Russia and abroad. Simultaneously the Third International Satellite Navigation Forum is to take place at Expocentre.
The idea of holding in parallel with Sviaz-Expocomm-2009 a novel independent exhibition on navigation systems, technologies and services, was supported by core ministries interested in the fastest commercialization of navigation services.
