OXFORD, England, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- In September 2009 the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) introduce a NEW syllabus for the Professional Diploma and Professional Postgraduate Diploma and introduce a new Chartered Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing qualification. Along with the new syllabus come changes to the academic requirements for entry.
For those interested in pursuing or advancing a career in marketing by studying for CIM qualifications, should consider the Graduate Foundation Programme from Oxford College of Marketing (OCOM).
The new programme is a short course designed specifically to help marketers revise basic theory normally covered in lower level courses and prepare them for CIM entry level tests. By completing the Graduate Foundation Programme, available only from Oxford College of Marketing, marketers will be better prepared for their preferred level of study. Potentially, lower levels of study can be bypassed, saving valuable time and money.
The Graduate Foundation Programme Intensive Weekends covering essential marketing theory will be held throughout the year. The Graduate Foundation Programme ( including distance learning material) will cost GBP250 of which GBP100 will be deducted off course fees should delegates enroll on a course with Oxford College of Marketing at a later date.
CIM courses are available for every stage of a marketing career: from the Introductory Certificate in Marketing, Diploma in Marketing and Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing through to the Chartered Marketer programme. With the withdrawal of funding for professional courses, many further education colleges have now stopped running CIM courses.
The college will hold a series of open evenings to launch of the new CIM Qualifications. Please come along to learn more about our courses, as there will be a free briefing on the new syllabus.
Briefings on the NEW syllabus and the Graduate Foundation Programme will take place on the following dates:
Croydon 8 June Uxbridge and Liverpool 9 June London 10 June Birmingham and High Wycombe 11 June Oxford, Brighton, Sheffield and Reading 18 June Milton Keynes 23 June
