- IT Consulting Services Veteran Ferenc Szelenyi Joins Company to Lead Growth

Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER) (http://www.perotsystems.com) today announced the appointment of Ferenc Szelenyi as Managing Director for the company's EMEA region. In his new role, Mr. Szelenyi will serve as Perot Systems' senior leader in Europe and the Middle East, primarily responsible for leading the company's business development and market expansion. He will report directly to Perot Systems Chief Operating Officer, Russell Freeman.

Establishing this new leadership role and bringing someone of Ferenc Szelenyi's capability on board is a clear signal that Perot Systems is committed to expanding its market presence in the EMEA, said Peter Altabef, president and CEO of Perot Systems. Ferenc's experience in both business development and technology should strengthen our competitiveness and help drive growth in the region.

Mr. Szelenyi joins Perot Systems from Morningstar Developments Ltd, where, as CEO, he focused on internationalising products and services and developing go-to-market strategies. Previously, Szelenyi served as Executive Senior Vice President and CEO for T-Systems in Italy, where he oversaw the successful development and implementation of a three-year growth program, culminating in the re-launch of the business as a sales and services company.

Mr. Szelenyi began his career at IBM, where for ten years he progressed through successive IT solution sales and marketing roles, culminating as Director, Electronic Commerce Solutions, IBM Europe, where he was responsible for revenues of US$500 million. After a brief period as a board member for KarstadtQuelle New Media AG, Szelenyi worked as Partner for PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting responsible for IT Services in Germany, Austria and Russia. Szelenyi successfully led a restructure of the solution portfolio and of the sales teams in Germany and Austria and a successful launch into Eastern Europe and Russia. He also oversaw a programme of customer acquisition in the telecommunications industry.

Mr. Szelenyi has a Degree in Information Technology and Business Administration from the University of Linz, Austria, and an MBM Degree from SDA Bocconi Mailand Italy. He lives with his wife and 11 year old daughter near Frankfurt, Germany.
