Following the announcement of its new Entertainment Unlimited initiative, Sony Ericsson has selected leading mobile platform specialist, Saffron Digital, as its exclusive technology partner to deliver the film service, PlayNow(TM) Arena Movies, to its handsets.

Saffron Digital will operate as Sony Ericsson's global partner in this venture, managing the end to end platform solution from content management, video encoding, website hosting, file delivery and digital rights management. PlayNow(TM) Arena Movies is part of Sony Ericsson's recently announced Entertainment Unlimited proposition.
