- Inner Wellness at Work is the Next Big Thing
LISSE, The Netherlands, October 1 /PRNewswire/ --
Many organizations are recognizing the need to develop health and wellness initiatives for their employees. Exercise rooms, massages, diet and nutrition education are appearing frequently in the corporate environment.
What about the inner health and wellness of the employees and the body, mind and soul connection that facilitates excellent or poor performance at work?
Stress, anxiety, burnout, recurring illness, injuries and diseases manifest when people are not taking care of their inner communication with themselves. Maintenance of the inner self and an understanding of self mastery can help prevent these ailments and aid in the recovery process of those who are already sick.
Inner Wellness at Work is a new company created by American businesswoman, Barbara Rogoski, to concentrate on the inner health and wellness of the employee in order to prevent stress (burnout), illness and disease before they occur. Corporate Meditation Training and Corporate Reiki on the stressed employees are two of the main services offered with practical applicability in the workplace. Other services include "Lunch and Learn" inspirational lectures at lunch time, coaching/counselling and workplace chaplaincy.
"Being conscious of the state of your inner health through the practice of meditation, Reiki treatments or conversations with an objective coach/counsellor, offers employees the chance to slow down, regain balance and peace of mind to do their jobs more effectively and in better health," Rogoski says.
Two new products are available to support the quest for inner wellness: Workplace Meditations audio CD of quick fix meditations for the stressed employee and the How to Set Up a Corporate Meditation Room Kit, to help HR Managers and Wellness Teams to set up a meditation room in their workplaces. Rev. Barbara Rogoski combines her 18 year corporate sales experience with her interest in meditation and Reiki to create a wellness business that understands the demands of the workplace and need for bottom line results. Preventing illness and disease through inner maintenance initiatives like these are good for the employee and good for the business. Both US and European companies will be targeted to introduce these wellness programs.
Inner Wellness will officially launch at the 'I am Not A Tourist Fair' on October 12th, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
