SAN FRANCISCO, November 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise 2.0 Conference -- ThoughtWorks Studios, a global leader in Agile ALM tools and training, will demonstrate today an integration between its Mingle project management tool and Google Wave. Google and ThoughtWorks Studios will show how the two products can be used to improve IT collaboration and software development productivity with a joint demonstration during today's keynote session at the Enterprise 2.0 conference.
The Mingle integration with Google Wave demonstrates how Wave can improve IT productivity by enabling a new level of collaboration between enterprise software developers and the end customers using these services, said Gregory D'Alesandre, product manager, Google Wave.
The demonstration shows a number of ways software development organizations can use Mingle to add structure and metadata to conversations in Google Wave. Users can create new Mingle artifacts by selecting simple text in Google Wave. They can also view and interact with Mingle card data automatically, and they can see which conversations in Google Wave reference specific cards in Mingle.
One of the core principles of Agile software development is improved collaboration and efficiency, and the integration of Mingle with Google Wave offers a great example of how enterprise IT can use the technology, said Chad Wathington, vice president, product development at ThoughtWorks Studios. Having a rich graphical environment to share and update data as it relates to the entire software development lifecycle certainly aligns with our strategy to offer an adaptive, flexible Agile ALM solution that leapfrogs traditional methods for planning, building and deploying great software faster and with more accuracy.
