About Arthur Arthur is in the process of finishing his multi-disciplinary Ph.D. in environmental science & engineering and computation & neural systems at Caltech. His academic history includes degrees in chemical engineering (BS/MIT) and environmental science & engineering (BS,MS/MIT) as well. Arthur weaves these topics together as he works on elucidating the biochemical pathways that are affected by pesticides in the development of Parkinson's disease! Arthur's work at the intersection of seemingly conflicting fields showcases itself more dramatically when he speaks on the intersection of religion and science, or in religious circles where he works to heal some of the wounds caused by organized religion while recognizing the benefits of a spiritual life. When not trying to mitigate disease and suffering, Arthur can be found running in marathons or along the beach in Santa Monica, CA.
