Helio Takai

Hi there. I am Helio Takai, a physicist working at Brookhaven National Laboratory. I am a Nuclear Physicist by training but these days I work in Particle Physics. I work in the ATLAS experiment. I also have interests beyond accelerator halls. I am interested in ultra high energy cosmic rays and high energy neutrinos. For that I am developing a radar that one day could be used to build a very large detector. I am also very much interested in education and outreach programs and have worked for the past 10 years with a very active group of physics teachers on Long Island, NY.
