Nature makes the boundaries
People may say that some countries are rich because nature has gifted them with good weather. It is not true. Germany practices water harvesting systems though it had enough rains. When floods come to tropical countries all the water flows down the sea
There are no proper water management systems developed by them so they lose water.
Plants are the best conservator of water.
Professor Nathawat , famous ecologist from Rajathan who is no more now used to tell that the vegetation on the hills of Jaipur region was so dense that once the rain will fall the water will trickle for several days in to small streams.
The Jaigarh fort has a very good water harvesting system of Tanka which collects rain water in very scientific manner . Bavaris of Rajasthan are rain harvesting system of Rajasthan.
If we revive tradtional water harvesting systems we would not face famines.
There needs to be better water use economy and proper water harvesting system needed more in tropical countries.
However 70 percent of agriculture in developing world depends on rains. No wonder they remain developing countries as their resources get dried up in absense of proper management of plants water and soil conservation strategies. Departments of environments and forests are more for certificate giving or licence permit department .
Fault is not with nature it lies how to manage the natural resources.
Mahatma Gandhi has once said " Nature has given for every ones needs but not for everyones greed".
Man has become very greedy to utilize all natural resources for himself at a very fast pace.
Think of future and our future generations also.
