Once Upon A Farm, an organic industry corporation, has been forced to recall its Tractor Wheels Organic, Toddler Soft-Baked Bars because when chewed they form a a dry, sticky mass that increases risk of choking but is resistant to standard choking interventions like back blows and the Heimlich maneuver.
The recall affects the contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, and purchases using online services such as Amazon.
The US Food and Drug Administration told them to issue the recall for all three flavors of its Tractor Wheels soft-baked bars after multiple reports of toddlers ages 1.5 to 2.5 years suffering complete airway obstruction and inability to breathe after consuming the product, which led to ambulance calls and hospitalization.
Once Upon A Farm Tractor Wheels, Organic Toddler Soft-Baked Bars should be thrown out or returned for a refund, all flavors and expiration dates.
