Award winning email service provider Database Group Interactive will provide a new series of Executive Briefings and Seminars on the topics of email strategy, multichannel marketing, and data insight. The first session on Friday 20 March will focus on Strategic Planning and will present new benchmark findings of customer response trends across various economic sectors.
The 20 March seminar will include group discussion on key issues faced within e-marketing departments for planning effective campaigns, including business objectives priorities, ROI benchmarking, and tactical briefing, led by DBGi's Chairman Richard Lees.
Richard says The seminar provides an excellent opportunity for senior management to understand the emerging trends of multichannel marketing. We will present publicly for the first time a strategic framework containing 5P's that Executive Management can use to control and monitor all elements of email activity, demonstrating how to combine technology, people, and process for fully integrated database marketing.
DBGi Business Development Director Guy Hanson notes A key element of email planning is making sure that the emails get to the inbox. Some of the big ESPs are scaling back on the amount of time they are spending talking about deliverability because it is not sufficiently 'exciting'. Make no mistake - ensuring good deliverability is an absolutely crucial element of the planning process, and it's essential for e-marketers to understand how to achieve this. We are delighted to welcome back Mario Marlisa (EMEA Channel Relations Manager for Return Path) to share some exceptionally valuable insider knowledge on this subject.
The objective of the workshop is to provide management with a comprehensive yet very easy to manage planning framework for all email activity and how that ties together with increasing market, customer, and data insight.
Specific topics covered by the Pi Framework include:
* Planning: Business Objectives Priorities, ROI Benchmarking, and Tactical Briefing
* Preparation: Targeting Relevance, Data Quality, and Copy Creative
* Production: Broadcast Scheduling, Deliverability Management, and Response Management
* Performance: Metrics, Analysis, and Learnings Recommendations
* People: Insight, Interpretation and Implementation
* Integration: Multichannel campaign management, Real-time performance tracking, and Single customer view
The current seminar will be held in London's Covent Garden on Friday 20th March, with complimentary breakfast available from 8.30am with a 9am start to the session.
A complete agenda for the day is available by request to determine suitability for attending the event and tickets are available at no charge from today on +44(0)117-918-3500. Seats for the workshop have been limited to 25 to ensure focussed discussion. Further details are available from http://www.databasegroupinteractive.co.uk/seminar
Attendees will be given a new Executive Guide detailing the Pi Framework which they can use to help guide increasing e-marketing performance inside their company.
Under current economic pressure, companies can use the new DBGi Pi Framework to efficiently improve their integrated multichannel approach to data management and e-marketing.
The importance of email is reaffirmed in a May 2008 study by research firm Ipsos which found that 67 percent of consumers prefer email over other online vehicles and 65 percent believe this will continue to be the case in five years.
