About Pranay EDUCATION: 2008- Present : PhD School of Earth and Environmental Science, University of Adelaide, Australia 2006 : M.Sc in Environmental Microbiology University of Mumbai,Mumbai,India 2003 – B.Sc. in Microbiology University of Mumbai,Mumbai,India. Specific Area of Interest: DNA Bar coding CURRENT WORK: My research work focus in improving the taxonomic inventory of zooplankton in South Australian drinking water reservoirs through integrating morphological and genetic approaches especially DNA bar coding. PAST WORK: My Master degree by research focussed on Physico-Chemical and Microbiological aspect of fresh water body in Mumbai, which latter laid foundation for Bio remediation program carried out lately in state. WORK EXPERIENCE: After completing my Masters degree, worked with Eureka Forbes Ltd, leader in water purifiers in India for a brief period of 2 year as Laboratory Supervisor for Mumbai region. PRESENTATIONS: Since 2005, I have given poster and oral presentation in more than 10 conference both in National and at International level.
